Paulo Melo is a Berlin-based communication designer. When he’s not in front of his computer, he says he can be found drawing in fashion magazines, which is something like what he did in his series called “Pure White.”
Against a blank canvas, the digital artist rendered swirls of color and shape inspired by marble rock. In the process, he obscured the faces and figures of fashion models. “The ideas of metamorphosis and reconstruction are always very present in my work,” he says.“The biggest challenge was the bridge between edgy structure and organic unity, almost an attempt to totality.”
